Greek Bronze Dagger with 24 Karat Gold Plated Hilt

The Greek Bronze Dagger in The Blades of the Conquerors collection by The Franklin Mint is an authentic re-creation of the daggers used around 1600 B.C. The hilt is electroplated in 24 karat gold. A scene of hunters encircles the pommel and a griffin is sculpted towards the lower end of the hilt. The blade itself is wrought of tempered steel and is double edged.

With the coming of the Bronze Age, stone weapons were replaced by those made of metal. Today, these early bronze daggers are extremely rare and valuable and are now found in various museums throughout the world.
