This beautiful tribal vintage necklace is special to the Afghan culture, specifically to the Kuchi ‘nomad’ people. Kuchis are Pashtuns from southern and eastern Afghanistan. This accessory is created with the intention of secreting prized oils or fragrances for convenient access and vanity.
Made of high-grade silver with each side of the pendant embellished with black, red, and green polished agate stones and enamored with silver orbs throughout and around its face and a silver strip lined along its sides. A twisted strip of silver is coiled around the spout and topped with a fixed eyelet. The pendant is sealed shut and cannot be opened. The chain is closed goes over the head to wear.
